Involved in tobacco and cigar business since 1966, I decided to introduce my own cigar brand, named after my website. The first line of Voila Cigars, Voila Ken was born in July 2004.
I have chosen a blend I set in the late 1980's for another cigar brand. This blend was pretty successful. Cuban seed tobaccos grown outside of Cuba have inherited the strength of the ancestor but not the rich aromas. Matter of different soil and weather conditions. Blending the Cuban seed with a aromatic dark air-cured tobacco, such as Olor Dominicano, brings flavors, but also mildness. We are lucky enough to get our tobaccos from one of the most professional tobacco processing company in the Dominican Republic, a company I dealt with for years. They always keep focus on quality.
Voila Ken is a medium cigar for any occasion of the day.
